Basir - Google Earth Alternatifi

İran İletişim ve Teknoloji Bakanı Muhammed Hasan Nami, 'Basir' adında Google Earth benzeri bir harita programı geliştireceklerini bildirdi.
Nami, 1996 yılında kurulan ve 2 bin terabaytlık bir veri merkezine sahip olan Google Earth'ün, dışarıdan basit bir hizmet sitesi olarak görünse de aslında batılı istihbarat servislerinin bilgi sağlayıcısı olduğunu iddia ederek, bunun karşılığında İran'ın başlattığı Basir isimli "harita ve konum belirleme programı" projesini 4 ay içinde sonuçlandıracaklarını belirtti.
Google Earth ile Basir arasındaki farklara değinen Nami, "Google Earth ve Wikipedia gibi batı menşeli sitelerin gerçek amaçları, diğer ülkelerin bilgilerini ele geçirerek bunun üzerinden gelir elde etmektir. Biz geliştirmekte olduğumuz Basir projesi sayesinde, bütün ülkelere İslami bakış açısıyla hizmet sunmayı amaçlıyoruz. Sitede yer vereceğimiz bilgilerle, maddi kar amacı gütmeksizin dünya halkını hakikate yaklaştırmayı hedefliyoruz" dedi.

Importing VRML files

Issue
When you try to import a VRML file with File > Import, you get the error message "No appropriate import module found".
Solution
To import a VRML file:
Change your vrml file extensions from .vrml to .wrl or .wrz.
Choose File > Import and you should then be able to see and import your vrml file.

This is a 32bit/64bit issue. That import is available in Max 32bit but not, and never has been, in Max 64bit, for the same reason there are so few AVI CODECS in 64bit.

Procedure

Browse to ArcToolbox > Conversion Tools > To Geodatabase.
Open the Feature Class to Geodatabase (multiple) tool.
Add all the feature classes into the Input Feature Class parameter.
Select an Output Geodatabase.
Click the Environments button at the bottom of the tool dialog box.
Expand the General Settings.
For the parameter, Output has Z Values, change the value to Disabled.
For the parameter, Output has M Values, change the value to Disabled.
Click OK in the Environments dialog box.
Click OK to execute the geoprocessing tool.
